Ideation (30%)

  1. The uniqueness of the idea(10%)
  2. What is the impact(20%) of the created solution for our company’s Users/Employees?

What’s the solution? (60%)

  1. What is the Design used?(25%) There could be multiple solutions to a problem, what solution you have chosen? Is it using existing libraries(preferred), if it’s using any of the other software/libraries then what’s the justification for the same? For eg: If you want to build something using a recommendation engine then you need to have good justification in case you plan to use something other than our own engine. Also, this is to encourage participants to really understand the problem well and then choose technology wisely than choosing the Tech Stack first and then moulding the problem to fit into Tech Stack. The latter approach will reduce your marks.
  2. Production Readiness(30%) of the Project: How production-ready the problem solution is? Can we take it to live on our ecosystem as it is? If not how much more effort does one need to put in to take it to live? The more production-ready the solution is, the more marks you will get.
  3. What did you learn(5%) for building this project?

Selling Your Idea(10%)

  1. This is equally important as the creation of a fabulous product. If you have built a super awesome product make sure that you are able to convince the judges of the same. The judges will be very much passive during the judging and it’s your responsibility to convey the magnanimity and effectiveness of the solution to judges. Demonstrate the use cases that the solution covers.

Note: No weightage is assigned to code quality/conventions, unit tests, etc…but make sure to follow a good level of quality/convention standards as we want your product to go live ASAP.
